The 120-Book Holy Bible and Apocrypha Collection Released: Longest Single-Volume Published Book in the World

Combining the groundbreaking formal equivalence translation of the Holy Bible from 2020 called the Literal Standard Version with the 54 books of the 2022 edition of The Complete Apocrypha, The 120-Book Holy Bible and Apocrypha Collection hardcover, just published by Covenant Press, is the largest Scripture and apocrypha collection ever published, with nearly twice as much material as the standard 66 books of the Holy Bible, plus additional writings, charts, and maps. It's the new, literal, easy-to-read, definitive collection of Christian and Jewish [non-gnostic] Scriptures and apocryphal books. It also happens to be the longest single-volume published book in the world at over 1.5 million words, exceeding even the Guinness World Record holder À la recherche du temps perdu by Marcel Proust at 1.3 million words.

The collection includes all 39 books of the Old Testament (called the Tanakh in Jewish circles), 27 books of the New Testament, and 54 books of the Apocrypha, Pseudepigrapha, and Apostolic Fathers, all revised and retranslated into a clean, literal, and easy-to-read translation: the complete LSV collection. This is the largest and most comprehensive collection of non-Gnostic Scriptures and apocryphal books ever produced (120 books in total), substantially exceeding the Catholic Bible (73 books), Eastern Orthodox Bible (76–78 books), Ethiopian Bible (81 books), and even the Cepher (87 books), which is popular in the Hebrew Roots movement.

The LSV itself is a modern, literal, word-for-word (formal equivalence) English translation of the Holy Scriptures utilizing English word rearrangement when necessary for readability. It is a modern revision of Robert Young's Literal Translation from the 19th century and is the most literal translation of the Holy Bible ever published, with significant improvement over other formal equivalence translations. The inclusion of the transliterated Tetragrammaton at every occurrence of God's name, the use of the caesura mark in poetic passages, unique formatting, and accurate and mechanical word-for-word translation set the LSV apart from the sea of modern dynamic and paraphrastic translations.

While also available digitally for Kindle, Android, and other devices, the hardcover is the size of many concordances, including The New Strong's Expanded Exhaustive Concordance. The large format allows for larger typeface (9.5-point) compared to most study Bibles and concordances (typically 9-point). It also lays flat and features a marble print with gold-colored trim and lettering. Inside you will be greeted with a crisp, easy-to-read serif typeface with minimized superscript verse numbering and a single-column layout that provides a more engrossing and traditional reading experience. The appendix includes additional fragments, writings, charts, and maps.
